Liikuttavaa Ltd - movEDUCA provides services to finnish education system, teaching methods, philosophy, school curriculum, implementation and educational programs promoting social and emotional/future skills by training and consulting educational staff.
The experiences have come in Qatar, Doha (2016), in Poland, Warsaw (2018), in Estonia (Laulasmaa, Pärnu, Tartu (2018),in Spain, Fuengirola (2016), in Iraq, Erbil, Kirkuk (2016-2019).
The co-operation with Norway, Denmark and Sweden, developing a training course for sports club coaches.
One example of training in Erbil, Iraq in 2017:
“Erbil is one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world, where the majority of the inhabitants are Kurdish. The city of Mosul, conquered by Isis, is located about 80 kilometers from the city. The time, I spent in the city with school staff and students provided a good opportunity to get to know Iraq’s diverse culture, living conditions, as well as the education system and teaching methods. The general atmosphere in the city was calm. However, war, the threat of terrorism and the uncertainty of homes, especially about the future of children, is something that touches and is visible in the daily lives of families. School children need safe adults to handle emotions, communicate, create learning conditions and environment, and also play and physical activity. A safe atmosphere, relationships with friends and increasing perseverance, especially for children living in unsafe conditions, are the most important prerequisites for learning. The feedback about the training was positive. In particular, the feedback emphasized the participants' personal experiences of working methods and working methods and their practical functioning. Our collaboration will continue with the training of new teachers, implementation, consulting and consideration for collaboration with parents. Personally, I felt a deep gratitude to be a “training exporter” of Finnish education. My own teaching career, humane values and the way I work in my education that promotes learning and well-being have been designed and developed to such an extent that it is possible to implement it in any environment, circumstances and cultures. ”

Few years ago we decided to introduce The Lions Quest program more thoroughly in Estonia. Since we don’t have a certified LQ trainer we asked for the help of our good partners from Lions Quest Finland.
It was nice to realize that the spirit of helping is deeply ingrained in our movement and our good friend Ulla Sirviö-Hyttinen was more than happy to support and help us in our endeavours and not only by counseling us but by a personal contribution being the leading trainer in our autumn training seminar. Thanks to Ullas professionalism and preparation, the training was a huge success. We amassed a trove of new and valuable experiences and our collaboration is on a whole new level thanks to it.
